CEiMB – Mango Lassi

Just a short post today. Short and sweet, just like today’s recipe for Craving Ellie in My Belly: Mango Lassi, picked by Leslie of Lethally Delicious.

I bought the largest mango I ever saw at the market last Saturday, but waited to long to use it and ended up with about 1/2 mango. I used vanilla-flavored yogurt and probably added a bit too much honey as the lassi was extremely sweet… But since I am known to have major sweet tooth this was absolutely no problem: the perfect drink for a hot day!

Visit Leslie´s blog for the recipe and check out what my fellow Ellie-istas though of the Mango Lassi here.

    >Looks so delicious, and I love it especially served with a book like you have it! Nice job. Also, very nice job on keeping things going on this site, so appreciative we all are, really we are!!! Cheers to you.

    >I liked the honey because of the little after taste it left, so a little extra would have been great. It was refreshing, wasn't it?

    >I wish I had used vanilla yogurt–I also have quite a sweet tooth! The glass you used is adorable, the mango lassi looks so much more fun in it. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and organization for CEiMB. I'm so happy to be a part of the group and look forward to lots more cooking in the future.

    >What a lovely glass of lassi you have there, Marthe! I let my mangoes go a bit long, too and I really need to deal with the rest of them before they are mush. Looks like you rescued quite a bit and made the perfect summer drink. Thanks for blending with me this week!

    >We are happy to be back in CEIMB land..thanks for making sure I don't just eat TWD all week!

    >Beautiful presentation marthe! Love it. Thanks for keeping our site together! I actually left the honey out of mine because I forgot it! But the lassi was still sweet and good to us.

    >You know, I think vanilla yogurt would be good then just don't add the honey. YUM!
